There are numerous ways for adults to get involved at Harris Covenant Church. Whether that is through small groups, Sunday School, or other Bible studies, there are always opportunities to get involved.
We have several groups that get together to dig into and discuss the Word of God each week. Youth are invited to participate in these classes - we love hearing what the Youth have to say!
Sundays @ 9am
- The Cross of Christ by John Stott. Discussion led by Seth Draper. We meet downstairs in the fellowship hall.
- Bible stories we don't often hear. Discussion led by Pastor Steve. We meet upstairs in the coffee lounge.
Wednesdays @ 7pm
- Community Bible Experience. This class uses "The Books of the Bible" NIV. It is a unique chronological version of the Bible without chapter or verse, designed to present an uncluttered and un-intimidating reading experience. The discussion is led by Seth Draper, and is currently at the beginning of the book of Exodus. Check with Seth for more information and to obtain a copy of the book.
All men 12 and up are invited to meet for breakfast and devotions one Saturday each month. The group moves around to different homes and sometimes meets at church. The group also takes on projects from time to time to help others in the church or community.
Come together with other women and study God's Word.
Thursdays, 7:00 PM.
At Jan Balfanz home (5629 409th Court, North Branch).
If you have questions, call Jan at 651-674-7314.
Outside of CLM and Men's Group, there are other Life Groups throughout the congregation that get together on a regular basis. To find out about how to get involved in one of these, Contact Pastor Steve.
CLM is the Covenant Ladies Ministry of Harris Covenant Church. We will be meeting seasonally this year. Check our Upcoming Events page for gathering dates. Our goal is to make friends and build relationships. Our gatherings are frequently themed and we very often include a local or global outreach need. We welcome ladies of all ages to our meetings. Check the bulletin or contact the church to find out more information.
Blankets For Kenya Project
THANK YOU to all of you who attended the Blanket Blitz workday. "Real men" can make blankets! Also thanks to those who donated money for fabric, fleece fabric or who made blankets by themselves for the Deaf School in Kenya. The results of the workday are on the table in church and there are more blankets coming. HCC made enough blankets to almost cover all of the bunk beds for the Kenyan kids. Congratulations! Thank you ever so much for your support in this endeavor.
