Our Mission at Harris Covenant Church is simple: Love God & Love Others. This mission statement comes directly from Matthew 22:36-40 which reads:

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all

your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

We believe that this instruction from Jesus serves as the basis by which we minister to those in our church and community. First and foremost, we are called to love God. Then, out of that relationship, we love others. Therefore, we desire to glorify God and help others find that personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We are committed to serving Christ by reaching out to all people of all ages through worship, prayer, music, discipleship, Bible studies and fellowship.
