Harris Covenant Church is a place that you can know you will be welcomed and greeted with kindness, no matter your current life situation or past mistakes. No matter who you are, the message of Christ can transform your life and lead you to feel a sense of belonging in a church family.
Sunday mornings at Harris Covenant Church are a time when our community gathers together to experience fellowship, worship, and hear from God's word. Our worship service includes music, teaching from the Scriptures, and a time of congregational prayer. We would love it if you come and join us on a Sunday morning or visit us at one of our other upcoming events.
We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Here's a few frequently asked questions with our answers.
Q: When is the worship service?
A: Sunday mornings begin with Coffee Fellowship at 10:00. Our Worship Service follows at 10:30 and typically lasts one hour. During the school year we have Sunday School small groups for all ages at 9:00.
Q: What should I wear?
A: We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.
Q: Where do my children go?
A: We welcome children of all ages to join our worship service. If needed, at anytime during the service, an unattended Family Room is available for parents and children. The service is televised for your convenience.
Q: Am I expected to put money in the offering?
A: If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering plate, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you consider Harris Covenant your church home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving to HCC. You can give by check or cash during the service.
We look forward to worshipping with you soon!
